Pre-Show Certification Protocol
— Honoring Type, Health, and Heritage —

As part of the official entry process for all Royal Bloodlines-sanctioned events, each exhibitor is required to report to the Pre-Show Registration Table for mandatory certification and classification verification. This process ensures that every canine is properly assessed and entered according to the Royal Bloodlines Breed Standard, with particular focus on structure, temperament, and overall health—especially in brachycephalic breeds.

Upon successful completion of the certification process, each exhibitor will receive:

·         An official “Tail of the Tale” Certification Document

·         A color-coded arm tag identifying the dog’s classification:

    Blue Tag – XL Class
    White Tag – Standard Class
    Yellow Tag – Classic Class
    Pink Tag – Pocket Class

Certification includes the following evaluations performed by Royal Bloodlines Officials:

·         Head Measurement — as Royal Bloodlines prioritizes a well-defined headpiece

·         Height Verification — using a dual-wicket measuring system for accuracy

·         Weight Assessment

·         Testicular Check — confirmation of two testicles in all males

·         Temperament Evaluation — ensuring sound and stable disposition

·         Health & Wellness Check — basic BOAS assessment may be conducted for brachycephalic entries

·         Distribution of Show Rules and Ring Etiquette Guidelines

All entry fees must be paid at this time. Upon certification, the canine will be officially entered into the Judges’ Classification Card for the corresponding class.

Note: Pre-show certification must be completed no later than one (1) hour prior to the scheduled start of the dog's class. Late arrivals may be disqualified from participation.
